these were easy and delicious! this was my first time making bread and making calzones. i only used the dough part of the recipe and i made 4 plate sized calzones instead of 2 big ones. i filled them with different things for the different people eating them. the calzone shell was yummy. i used my kitchenaid mixer's dough hook (for the first time) and it was really easy. just threw it all in the mixing bowl and let the hook do the work! i needed to use lots of flour when i rolled it out because it was pretty sticky.

oh. my. gosh. this was the best new dinner recipe i've tried ever. it is a new favorite in my house. we doubled up on the rub that goes on the chops which was delicious and gave them tons of flavor. and i added green onions and garlic to the salsa because i add green onions and garlic to everything i can. this was soo good!

this is so super easy to make and really delicious! i will definitely add this to my regular dinner recipes. the only thing i thought it was missing was green onion maybe. i thought this after i was almost done eating it but i will try green onion next time.
