I am a wife of fourteen years and a mother of six. I love cooking for my family (most of the time) and I love the Lord. Huge pots or pans of chili, spaghetti, lassanga, enchiladas etc. Lots of hearty appetites in this family. Every Christmas since I was a little girl we bake cookies for family and friends. My mother started the tradition with me & now I share it with my 5 girls. It is a great way to reach out to your neighbors you don't know that well. I once was into baking & decorating my children's birthday cakes. Through others seeing my work, I was able to do it for others for a profit. I once substituted almond extract for vanilla in a chocolate chip cookie recipe and until this day my husband still reminds me of those horrible cookies!
