Pour-A-Pan Pizza
Chicken Pot Pie IX
About this Cook
I am a wife of fourteen years and a mother of six. I love cooking for my family (most of the time) and I love the Lord.
My favorite things to cook
Huge pots or pans of chili, spaghetti, lassanga, enchiladas etc. Lots of hearty appetites in this family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas since I was a little girl we bake cookies for family and friends. My mother started the tradition with me & now I share it with my 5 girls. It is a great way to reach out to your neighbors you don't know that well.
My cooking triumphs
I once was into baking & decorating my children's birthday cakes. Through others seeing my work, I was able to do it for others for a profit.
My cooking tragedies
I once substituted almond extract for vanilla in a chocolate chip cookie recipe and until this day my husband still reminds me of those horrible cookies!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
This is a simple but great recipe. I substituted magarine for the shortening. I also melted a little magarine & brushed the tops of the biscuits. This is a keeper!

Pour-A-Pan Pizza
Tasty meal that is similiar to pizza but don't expect too much from the crust or you will be disappointed. It is what it is...on hand ingredients. This recipe was easy enough for my teens to make alone. I made it again & tried to improve it.I added some itailan seasoning to the dough mix before baking. My kids LOVE it but not hearty enough for the hubby.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings
These came out really good and tasty once I got the oil heat just right. If the oil is too hot they will burn!
