pretty bland. have definitely had better garlic mashed potatoes than this!

good recipe. i took the advice of others who said the gravy was very thin, so i made a flour mixture with rosemary garlic seasoning and minced garlic. I then rolled the roast in the flour mixture and placed it in the cooker with all the other ingredients that way the gravy would thicken as it cooked. tasted great! I cooked 4 hours on high and 2 on low, perfect timing.

LOVE this recipe!! Found it in a old cookbook passed down by my family. Anytime we have leftover ham, my fiance begs me to make this for him. It's absolutely wonderful. I add mushrooms and remove the celery and breadcrumbs.
