Mother was known for her fabulous cakes and grandma and aunt should have had a cooking show and restaurant. In their tradition I try to be nearly as good (will never be AS good) as they were. Also, chitterling were always present at Thanksgiving. Because they're all passed on now, I'm making my own this year. Having 2 recipes published in a local cookbook this year. A chicken and dumplings recipe that looked like something the cat threw up!
