About this Cook
I am a college student living a stay-at-home-"moms" life so I am trying to learn how to cook and have some yummy food while taking the time to study.
My favorite things to cook
Everything! I love trying all sorts of different cuisines and am extremely interested in finding vegan recipes that are well put together and nutritious.
My cooking triumphs
Vegan Lasagna, Double-Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake
My cooking tragedies
Ethiopian-Inspired Red Lentil Soup, yuck...and anything made with kale.

Lentils with Tomatoes
This was excellent! I did switch up the ingredients a tad by adding a teaspoon of garlic and a can of chickpeas but everything else was just as stated and it was DELICIOUS! I also did mix a little bit of broth with the water to give it just a bit more flavor. Definitely a keeper.

Guacamole
The guac was good but was lacking in flavor in my opinion. I am very fond of a smoky guac I make and this was just flavorless in comparison. I think it could use almost double the salt, cumin, extra lime, and some chipotle chilis in Adobo would make it far more delicious.

Pasta Pascal
Yummy yummy! I usually up the garlic and the red pepper flakes to add some more flavor. Delicious and super simple recipe!
