Warm Blue Cheese Dip with Garlic and Bacon
Perfect. I hate mayo and there are so few dips that don't have it. I tried it on french bread, raw veggies and shrimp. Sooooo good. Next time I'll add more bacon and garlic just for kicks. I used white onion, not chives, and a tiny amount. I put it in two ramekins so I could bake one now and one later.

Beer-Boiled Shrimp
So easy! I used less butter and waited to salt the broth only after it was ready. I didn't let it stand for half an hour. I recommend having some crusty french bread handy for the broth!

Aunt Mazo's Dessert
Yummy! Use tart cherries instead, it cuts the sweetness. I liked but did not love the flavor of the milk, I was hoping that it tasted like homemade caramel. I will make it again. It's pretty labor intensive, always making sure the water is high enough.
