A Marine Corps wife of almost three years, originally from Alaska but now in San Diego, Ca. with my husband and child. Desserts of course.. anything chocolately! I also love breads...and lots of vegetables. My mom's family is German, and my dad's is from the south, so there was always plenty of meat, tons of bread, vegetables, and desserts to choose from! I made my first loaf of home-made bread the other day! It was delicious, and my favorite part was punching down the dough! I got married at 19, and only knew how to cook three meals. Spaghetti, stir fry, and grilled cheese! My poor husband ate those meals over and over for months before I got brave enough to venture into new recipes. Even then things were often over (and under) cooked for awhile. He never complained, although we do laugh about it now!
