One Bowl Brownies
I really wanted to like this recipe but I was very disappointed with the results. My 10 yr old daughter wanted to bake brownies for her class b/c she was nominated for student council. I chose this b/c of the simplicity and the reviews. However the final product was not as good as I'd hoped. You could taste the sugar in the brownie, also they weren't very chocolately and didn't have the color shown in the pic. Although, the texture was great in the brownies I could salvage (they stuck to the side of the pan--I had to literally scrape them off). The 2nd batch I added foil as suggested and was able to remove them easily but still, they had a baked sugar taste w/out much "chocolate" taste. Maybe the cocoa and oil many users suggested would help. If I try this recipe again I will definately cut the sugar and add cocoa.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II
This was delicious!! I didn't expect it to be so good. I've never baked a "flourless" cake before so didn't know what to expect. It is very rich and chocolatey. This was the dessert for my V-day dinner I cooked for my boyfriend and he loved it. It's brownie like but seeing how I love brownies I wasn't complaining. To offset the richness I served with Cool Whip and sprinkled w/ chocolate shavings. I will definately be making again.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze
My boyfriend gives this a def five star! However, I have to go down to four. I really enjoyed this recipe as it was very close to a restaurant style meal and quite easy. I followed the suggestions of others and added garlic and brown sugar. I also doubled the vinegar per other users suggestions. Do not recommend! Either follow recipe as is or use a lil less (my opinion) vinegar is a bit overpowering. However the problem with this recipe was even though I simmered the sauce it never became a glaze. Even after it sat once cooked. The four stars is simply that it was very thin and runny. The flavor however was very good and the filets turned out great.
