Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Not as flavourful as I was expecting. I added the extra 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce but it still wasn't as moist as my usual sour cream coffeecake.

Butternut Squash Bake

Roasted Beets with Feta

Nice, easy dish. I roasted the beets with a roast I was making (make sure you put them in a baking dish b/c they'll leak!). I used a green onion instead of the shallot and it worked well.

Fluffy French Toast

This was a good recipe but not exceptional. I used day old cinnamon raisin bread and sprinkled the cinnamon and some nutmeg onto each slice as it was cooking on the first side. If I hadn't used raisin bread I think it would have been rather blaw. The flour does seem to puff up the bread a bit more than ususal.

Marinade for Chicken

Really easy and tasty. I omitted the salt and marinated the boneless, skinless chicken thighs for 1 hour (so the meat wouldn't become tough from the acidic marinade).

Pork Roast With The World's Best Pork Loin Rub

I had such high hopes for this recipe. It fell flat. I hated the cumin flavour (which overpowered the rest of the spices). I did like how the brown sugar make the outside of the meat crispy though.

Greek Feta And Olive Spread

I love all of the ingredients in this dish but not this recipe unfortunately. Much too salty and not enough ingredients. The feta should not be the main ingredient b/c it makes it too salty. Maybe making a base of sour cream would tone down the saltiness.

A very nice moist spice muffin. They do get gummy on the top if you keep them in an airtight container so wrap them fairly loosely.

Barbeque Chicken

This was just OK. I think the Carmelized Baked Chicken is much better. Didn't love the overall flavour but the chicken did come out very tender. I used skinless, boneless chicken thighs.

The Best Big, Chewy Triple Chip Cookies

A really good chocolate chip cookie. You might want to use a little less (1 1/2 cups) of chips b/c the chocolate overpowered the cookie. Also, use the tip from other posters and use room temperature eggs in order to have taller cookies.
