About this Cook
My name is Tiffany and I am the luckiest person in the world! I not only have two very beautiful children, Connor and Belle, but my job is to be a full-time mom to them. I love to be with my husband, Dave, and children. For myself, I enjoy playing soccer (MVP in high school for all Sonoma County), exercising, being with good friends and anything that involves family!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are holiday dinners. I love making big dinners for everyone to enjoy such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. I also have family get togethers for Mother's Day and Father's Day. Kabobs are always a big hit with lots of meat and vegetables, marinated of course!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking tradition of all time is at Christmas time. I have taken on all the holiday baking and absolutely love it. I make at least 20 different types of "goodies" and always try a new one each year. I give family, friends and neighbors a big cookie tray for Christmas. This is also a great way to let my children get involved in the kitchen as well as a fun and festive holiday tradition.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs are not very huge in the grand scheme of things. I consider cooking a triumph when I try a new dish and my family, especially my husband, likes the dish and asks for me to make it again.
My cooking tragedies
I have one cooking tragedy that turned out to be pretty ironic. I was making my very first cheesecake and I was really petrified about it cracking. I followed directions very closely being absolutely sure to do everything perfectly. When it was finally time to pull the cheesecake out I was mortified. There was a huge crack in the center. Then, my husband started to laugh because as you looked closely, the huge crack was in the shape of a "T". I told him that I meant to do that and I was personalizing my very first cheesecake! My name is Tiffany!!!! It turned out to be the talk of the night.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These cookies are amazingly good! I did not change one thing in this recipe, however, I did let the dough sit in the refrigerator for a couple hours to make them less sticky. A definite keeper...thanks!

Cheesecake Supreme
This cheesecake received many compliments on its taste, however, I was extrememly disappointed in its appearance. This cake had a huge crack in the center in the shape of a "T". To make light of it, I told everyone I personalized the cheesecake since my name begins with a "T"!
