About this Cook
Let's see I was in the Navy for 8 years so essentially, I've lived all over the states. Now I'm lucky enough to be an at home mom and I'm loving it. My daughters are 2.5 and 6 years old.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking and making sweet treats for my family and others, even though I try to restrain from eating them much. I don't know, I love making all things that my kids will eat and Hubby loves essentially. I do like easier recipes but it's nice to do something that takes a wee bit of time once in a while.

Christmas Pinwheel Cookies
This is a good recipe! They are not as time consuming as others say either. I put the dough in the freezer for an hour and that was cooled perfectly to roll out. Wrapped back up and tossed back in the freezer to chill for the slicing. It worked out well. I mixed them at 9 am and was done early in the afternoon (when kids complied of course). My family enjoyed them very much! I will do these again with other combos!

One Bowl Brownies
I found this recipe on the box of Bakers Squares unsweetened about a year ago I think. We LOVE these, these are hands down the best brownies we've had. It is very fudgy so I always line the pan with foil and generously grease it. I didn't know about the cakey version until I found the recipe on here, tried it and it came out awesomely! These are great!

Jif(R) Crispy Treats
Rice Krispie treats are the best! Adding peanut butter definately was a nice change for a different flavor. I've also added about 1 & 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips to this and they came out very good.
