Wow - very tasty! I loved how flavorful this dish was with so little effort. I didn't have time to let it marinate and it was still fab - can't wait to taste it next time with I prepare it in advance! Thank so you much!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent! The first time I followed the recipe exactly with RAVE reviews and the second time I ran out of white sugar....so I used 3/4 white and 1&1/4 cup brown sugar with RAVE reviews; both were amazing, and based solely on appearance I may continue to "run out of" white sugar. Thank you soooooo much for this treat of a recipe!

This was excellent! I followed the recipe exactly (except i didn't have whole wheat flour so I used all purpose in place) and the muffins tasted like buttery goodness!!! - but SURPRISE, low fat, low calorie muffins! Thank you so much! You have made my lunches delicious!

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe (4.5 stars) - it was quick and easy and a leaner alternative to ground beef. I did add kidney beans and black beans because I enjoy the texture of beans in chili. Thanks for the recipe - its a keeper.

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Thank-you so much for such a tasty recipe! My family loved this - everyone went back for seconds! I made no substantial changes to the recipe - I used an extra potato and added a little more red wine to make up for the creme I didn't have on hand. The spice combo along with the red wine makes the kitchen smell so wonderful. I will be making this again and regularly! Thank you once again.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
AMAZING!!!!! People fought over the last two slices! I did however based on other reviews mix most of the sauce with the apples before putting into the pie...i did attempt basting the top of the pie with remaining sugar mix however it didn't look pretty (but i do think this was my fault as i got tied up and i think most the liquied evaporated)....next time i would simply baste the pie crust with the usual egg wash.... If you are looking for an apple pie recipe look no further - this one will not fail you! ...oh as an aside i basted the bottom of pie crust with egg whites before puting the filling in...this is something i always to to prevent soggy crust synodrome.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
My family loved these! I didn't make the topping for personal preferences. Other than that followed the recipe as written. I never buy pumpkin pie spice, always make my own. I used the recipe on here by Penilu called 'Pumpkin Pie Spice I' and typed in one serving which equaled the 1 tablespoon called for in this recipe. Also, 2 apples was about 2 cups. My family gobbled them up! Will make again tomorrow with left over pumpkin from pumpkin pies!

YUMMMMMMY!!! I loved these! I didn't change a thing except I forgot the brown sugar and they were still a hit with my family! Lots of work I found but worth it! I think this would be a good one to make extra and freeze.

Creamy Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This was an excellent recipe! Very simple and healthy. I used reduced sodium chicken broth and skim milk and added a little extra flour to increase thickness. I used a hand blender to puree the mixture just prior to adding the milk and flour mixture. I sprinkled cheese on top of each bowl and it really make this dish. I will be putting it in my regular rotation. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Very good recipe! The only reason I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because i love dipping my enchiladas in salsa and this creamy recipe doesn't go with salsa - but aside from my personal preferences I this recipe is great as written and i will be making it again.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I thought this dish was excellent! I did double the sauce (we love sauce) and opted for fresh garlic. My boyfriend loved it to but likes a thicker sauce so perhaps omitting some of the tomato juice and or adding corn starch would do the trick. Overall though this dish is fantastic and will be a regular in my rotation.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
Paula thank-you so much for this recipe - it was excellent! I did make a few changes. I tossed my beef in 1/4 cup flour, 1tsp garlic powder, 1tsp black pepper and pinch of salt before frying (because I added pepper here I didn't add it with the other spices). I used red potatoes with the skin on (I find they don't go mushy no matter how long you cook em') and 5tsp of cornstarsh. I found 5 tsp of cornstarsh still only produced a soup like consistancy - next time (and there will be many more) I will use closer to 3 tablespoons. This was such a tasty recipe - the cooking time - perfect! The beef - so tender! Excellent recipe! Perfect for a cold winters night!
