Army Nurse
About this Cook
I'm a 28 year old Army nurse. I've been cooking since about 17 years old, 11 years now!
My favorite things to cook
Everything! I love to cook!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas morning we always eat corned beef hash breakfast burritos. Yum!
My cooking triumphs
I pulled off a Mexican fiesta while I was in Iraq. We used a lot of microwaveable foods, but everything turned out delicious! It was a huge success!
My cooking tragedies
Catching the stove on fire trying to throw battered chicken into hot peanut oil. I haven't tried to cook stir fry again since.

Roasted Vegetable Orzo
I made this for a work potlock for Thanksgiving and was asked to make it again to bring to the Christmas party! I also added a little bit of Mozzarella cheese in addition to the Parmesan

Holiday Chicken Salad
I have been using this recipe since 2004 when I made it for a friend's going away party at work. It was a hit then and every time I have made it since then. I leave out the nuts for those who are allergic and it still tastes great!
