My hubby jokes that I used to use the smoke detector as my times on the stove. Now, I rarely use a timer. My family loves my "roast with the most". I really love to cook anything, but my roast is my favorite to fix. I love to have my kids as taste testers as I am cooking and help me with what needs to be added. My first Thanksgiving turkey 2 years go. I got a recipe from a friend that had me soaking the turkey in brine for 4 days and then glazing it as I cooked it. I was so worried I would give everyone food poisoning, but my 22 lb bird was gone in 3 days. Other than my early years of cooking, no real tragedies.
