About this Cook
My hubby jokes that I used to use the smoke detector as my times on the stove. Now, I rarely use a timer.
My favorite things to cook
My family loves my "roast with the most". I really love to cook anything, but my roast is my favorite to fix.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to have my kids as taste testers as I am cooking and help me with what needs to be added.
My cooking triumphs
My first Thanksgiving turkey 2 years go. I got a recipe from a friend that had me soaking the turkey in brine for 4 days and then glazing it as I cooked it. I was so worried I would give everyone food poisoning, but my 22 lb bird was gone in 3 days.
My cooking tragedies
Other than my early years of cooking, no real tragedies.

Moroccan Chicken and Whole Grain Couscous
I made this last night and oh my gosh, how wonderful. The spices were perfect, giving it wonderful flavor. Even my picky 6 yr old loved it. It did have a lot of liquid, but it worked for us as we used it for our bread and used the rest as a stock for soup tonight. Thanks for sharing!!

Margie's Sour Cream Pork Chops
I made these two days ago and were so darn tasty, I made them again last night. Very tender with just enough zip, making them the best chops I have ever tasted. I am so glad you posted this recipe. Thank you!!

Nutty Coconut Fish
I made this last night. WOW, this was awesome. My kids loved it. I sed chopped pecans as I did not have mixed nuts and I used paprika so it wouldn't not be too zippy for my little one. Also, I used mustard w/honey instead of brown mustard. Thanks for sharing!!
