Very good basic recipe. The only changes I made was that I omitted bacon (we had a vegetarian at our party) and added a bit of mustard.

Guacamole

Very good. The only change I made was that I used canned diced tomatoes instead of fresh. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 as I thought it tasted good and people ate it at the party but no one mentioned anything about it so it must not have been outstanding.

Peach Upside-Down Cake III

This was pretty good. The only changes I made was that I used brown sugar for the topping that goes in the bottom of the pan and I made in a bundt pan as I thought the one in the picture looked better. It came out pretty but there wasn't quite enough cake in my opinion. It was basically peaches with a little bit of cake bread stuck to the bottom of them. Maybe the bundt pan is bigger than the cast iron so that may be my fault. Next time I make I will double the cake batter.

Chicken a la Camille

This was very good however I chose to use a Chicken Grill Rub instead of italian seasoning and just sprinkled then pressed into the meat abit instead of putting in a bag. I like the idea of cooking with just seasoning then adding the sauce halfway through.

Ranch Crispy Chicken

UPDATE: Made this again and did a 3 step coating on the chicken of flour, then egg white then the breadcrumb/ranch mixture. Came out absolutely fantastic! 1st time making: This was really good! Make sure you get the ranch DRESSING mix and not the dip mix as the dip is way too salty. I thought the dressing mix made the chicken a bit salty but not too bad. I added paprika to the mix and coated chicken in light mayo prior to breadcrumbs per other reviews and this turned out fantastic.

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

This was very good but I did tweak quite a bit based on what I had in my kitchen and to reduce the salt. I didn't have carrots or onion so I added sliced multi colored peppers and onion powder. I removed the regular salt and just used fresh garlic instead of garlic salt. very tasty side dish.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Now this was a great basic meal recipe. I did make quite a few tweaks based on some things that sounded good that other reviews had tried but I think the recipe would have been good as written as well. My changes: -Canned chopped tomatoes instead of stewed -White cooking wine instead of water -Red Wine vinegar instead of regular vinegar -Added a handful of chopped multi colored peppers -Onion powder since I didn't have any onion but I think onion slices would have been excellent

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

It was ok. I love ginger and have been really looking forward to this recipe so I was shocked that I didn't think this was the greatest thing on the planet. The only difference I did was that I made with tilapia since I didn't have mahi mahi. I know that would have made a tiny difference but plenty of other reviewers have made with various kinds of fish and all thought it was far better than I seemed to think.

Easy Turkey Gravy

OMG...seriously the best gravy ever! My husband made an announcement at thanksgiving dinner saying that everyone needed to taste the gravy because they would be missing out if they didn't. Too funny but very true. The only changes I made was that I used condensed milk since I already had a can open that I needed to use and I added a bit of hickory smoke flavoring. I also used chicken broth instead of turkey drippings or stock as we deep fried our turkey and my grocery store didn't have any turkey stock. My sister-in-law says she hates gravy but had seconds of this one! This will now be my holy grail gravy! UPDATE: I made a 2nd time but made it a tad different to have as a sauce over chicken and rice. I just made a bit less and used more flour to make it thicker. It was excellent this way too!

Excellent! I used less olive oil as I wanted a lighter feel and added some ginger for a nice asian kick to go with the sesame seeds. Very tasty and light side dish.

Teriyaki Pork Chop

Wound up making quite a bit different. Cut up and cook on stovetop with 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 red bell pepper cut up and a handful of sliced mushrooms. Onion would be good too but didn't have any. Add sesame ginger seasoning and teriyaki sauce. Excellent over brown rice.
