My Babies~Justin & Riley
About this Cook
I am a married mother of two a 10 year old boy & my little girl is 2. I work full time, and I go to the gym twice a week, so some nights we diffinatly need something quick, but sometimes I go all out! I have a few signature dishes that my family and friends rave about! I am pretty daring in the kitchen I like to whip things up out of ingreads that I just happen to have and if it goes over well I'll make it again!! I'm more of a semi-home cooked kinda girl, start with a base & dress it up but not always and definatly not as a rule! I'm just not real big on "From-Scratch" Some times ya just need shortcuts! :-)
My favorite things to cook
My Sig. Dish: Chicken Chimichanga's
My favorite family cooking traditions
Presentation makes the meal!! I tend to vary from receipes alot! I will look up a few & combine them. I don't measure & I change amounts and/or ingreads dependng on what we like or what we have on hand! That usually works well for me, but it's probably also why I don't bake well!!! lol
My cooking triumphs
I usually cook very well, my Husband & my son are my biggest fan's, sometimes things I try just come out great! They give me rave reviews!!
My cooking tragedies
As stated before Not so good at the Baking unless It's something that doesn't deal with exact measurements!

Meatloaf Cordon Bleu
Yummy! I made this for dinner last night with only slight changes, I used Ground Turkey in place of Beef (we don't eat ground beef) I basically made my meatloaf as I always do (which is pretty much the same as this Recipe) I added some thinly sliced green onions because I had them, and a very little ketchup & mustard! I used Deli Selects Ham and sliced Mozzarella (it's what I had). Cooked for about 45 minutes. It sliced up beautifully and my family LOVED it especially the Kids! I Served it with California Blend Veggies & an iceberg Salad! Can't wait for the leftovers!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Terrific! My husband doesn't cook but one evening I had a last minute meeting to attend, I had heard about this recipe from a friend who raved about it! So I called my husband and walked him through this over the phone, we didn't have a roast but I had planned on making these little top round steaks, so we used them instead I had my husband use 1 can of soup & reduce the water some but everything else stayed the same. 3 hours later when I arrived home We had perfect little "Mini Roasts" so tender! I made some potatos and topped them with the extra gravy. The Steaks were so tender you could cut them with a fork & tasted just like pot roast!! Thank you dinner was ready & my husband was very proud of himself!!!
