Blueberry Oat Waffles

I skipped the pecans (not a fan of nutty waffles), but they were delicious! They are definitely blueberry loaded and very filling!

Oh my! This is just delicious. I must admit I was worried because the batter was VERY thick, but it turned out fabulous!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
Fantastic! I had to cut the time down because my oven is a little wacky. The only problem I had was they got a little soggy after a day or two. Right out of the oven, they were delicious though! I substituted some of the white sugar for brown sugar in the topping. I was worried because the batter was a little thick but they came out great!

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
Delicious! I've made this recipe multiple times. You can really play with it if you're missing ingredients. If you don't want yellow rice, don't add the turmeric. I've used different types of rice and they all taste great. The timing, of course, just changes for each one. I sub almonds for the pine nuts since they're so expensive. You can also sub in peanuts. Either way, you should cook the nuts in a little oil on the stove first to bring out the flavor. Serve with a plain yogurt or sour cream and an Arabic salad (chopped tomatoes and cucumbers with lemon juice, salt, and pepper). It's a huge recipe so I always half it for 5-6 people.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
My cream cheese was at room temperature. I followed the recipe. The only thing I did differently was put in half the condensed milk (which a lot of people suggested in order to make it less sweet)... and it turned into a soup that never thickened. What did I do wrong?
