Well, I wouldn't say that I'm an amazing cook; I still have a lot to learn. I've been cooking since I started high school (11 years old) and I'm learning new things ever since. I never really use measurements to cook, just a dash of this and a sprig of that - that's why I don't have many recipes in my collection; I don't know the amounts.
My favorite things to cook
Well, the first thing I ever made was "Banana Fritters", so I think it's my favorite thing to make and it's probably the thing I could make with my eyes closed. I made my first batch (by myself) at age 10.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I wouldn't say we have "traditions" in my family. We tend to just try something - it might work and it might not.
My cooking triumphs
I wouldn't say I have cooking "triumphs", but I really loved the first time I made Christmas dinner and my boyfriend was invited. I was really scared about what he would think, but he loved it.
My cooking tragedies
I'm just starting out at baking. I tried baking a really complex cake for my 16th birthday - didn't go over very well. So I didn't really try it again, until recently. It's not that bad.
