Baked Macaroni and Cheese

this was good, but i think it could use some more cheese. next time i think i'll add a cup of muenster or colby cheese.

this recipe was very good. i didn't follow it exactly but i used all of the ingredients listed. i completely forgot about the flour it called for until i was all done. boyfriend loved it. made lots of extras to freeze and save for later.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
i only gave the recipe 4 stars because i had to add some extra seasoning of my own to the meat. otherwise, everything came out great! the bleu cheese butter was fabulous!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
this recipe worked soooo well! i followed it exactly. the bread came out moist and soft. it freezes very well too. i cut one of my loaves in half, wrapped it in foil and put it in a zip lock bag. almost 2 months later, it tastes fresh and just as good.

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
this recipe turned out great. i had to half everything because i didn't have enough seeds. and i didn't use all the recommended salt. just sprinkled it on to my taste. and used olive oil instead. turned out fantastic. we ate them right off the pan as soon as they got out!

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
i followed this recipe, exactly as written and it turned out great! it was very moist and juicy. it had a strong flavor of the onion soup mix, but i happen to really like that flavor. if you don't, i don't recommend using the whole package. as i saw in other reviews, i put some bread on the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease, and that worked well, and added a ketchup/brown sugar glaze that i found on other meatloaf recipes, that kicked up the flavor a knotch. overall, great recipe.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
i gave it 4 stars because i tweaked it a bit, but it turned out great. i used chicken instead of shrimp, because i already had it. also i added about 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and some of the diced tomato liquid for more of a sauce. i seasoned the chicken with a bit of cajun seasoning and added a sprinkling of red pepper flakes to the sauce. it was phenomenal! and tasted even better the next day. thanks for a great base recipe.

Baked Potato Soup III

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
this soup was really good. instead of adding the green onions later, i added them with the butter and let them cook longer. they turned out soft and added a good taste. i didn't use cooked bacon, but instead just tossed in some real bacon bits. instead of regular salt i used seasoned salt. overall, soup turned out great. will be eating this all week.

Cheddar Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
this dip was to die for! we ate it with potato chips at our job christmas party, and it tasted like loaded potato skins. we used real bacon bits in it. it was a tad bit salty, so if salt isn't your thing, cut back on the ranch seasoning.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
this was a great recipe, but i had to make some alterations. i took out the peppers and the green onions, just because of my own personal taste, and replaced them with cauliflower. i also used shredded carrots instead of chopped. the results were still amazing. i took it to a baby shower, and got many compliments.

Dill, Feta and Garlic Cream Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
this recipe was amazing!! i love dill dip. but when you throw in garlic and feta, two of my favorite things in the world, you have a bangin' dip! for those who are health conscious, i used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and threw in some low fat sour cream. i also only used 4 ounces of feta, instead of the 8 ounces. i didnt' have any cloves of garlic, so i used the chopped garlic that comes in a jar, about a teaspoon of it, and some dried dill weed, and it came out fantastic. my coworkers at our christmas party wanted the recipe. very good if you're a fan of feta and garlic.
