About this Cook
I am a personal chef, planning weekly/bi-weekly menus & cooking for busy families. I have been happily married for 15+ years. I have an 11 y/o daughter and a 7 y/o son. I've been cooking since I was big enough to climb on the counters to get things out of the cabinets.
My favorite things to cook
Comfort foods of course! I also enjoy italian meals and a variety of soups. I can really say that I just love to cook anything.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know...just getting one good meal on the table seems to be a triumph these days.
My cooking tragedies
There have been many, like putting sugar in the mashed potatoes instead of salt.

Restaurant-Style Tequila Lime Chicken
I like this recipe for the chicken marinade, I have my own fresh salsa and ranch dressing recipe that I use. Served with Mexican rice, it's a great meal!

Peanut Butter Cake II
D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S-! A great tasting, moist cake with a wonderful peanut butter frosting! I did use more peanut butter in the cake mix (as well as a dash of vanilla) and extra in the frosting too. I put a thick layer of chocolate frosting between the two layers, poured chocolate ganache over the top decorated with some mini Reese Pieces. Most importantly, not too heavy :-) THIS IS A KEEPER!
