About this Cook
I was all about the Ramen noodles and hot pockets in college. I wouldn't have anything to do with cooking until the summer after I graduated. Now I love cooking and do it all the time. I always thought it would be really difficult; it isn't, who knew?
My favorite things to cook
I love vegetables, but I'm not a vegetarian by any means. I love a good salad. I love cooking chicken because there's an infinite amount of ways to cook it. I also like a good casserole...I just like trying new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
No real big cooking traditions. My parents are good at cooking but don't seem to enjoy it as much as I do.
My cooking triumphs
I consider it a triumph if the house doesn't burn down. =0)
My cooking tragedies
Eggplant. Can't cook eggplant.

Garlic Corn on the Cob
This was good but I think next time I will use slightly less butter/garlic powder, or at least spread it around more. Just a personal preference.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes
These were fantastic. I had never made pancakes before ever, and I made these...very good. I did take another review's advice and reduce the baking powder to two teaspoons, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It's sweet, very sweet...and filling. I would definitely like to try this with blueberries.

Taco Stuffed Shells
Oh. My. God. So. Freaking. Good. I haven't tried a recipe on this site in quite awhile and...yeah, this totally exceeded my expectations. I cooked the onions in with the beef and etc instead of sprinkling them with the cheese...definitely used more salsa (I used HOT salsa so good!), and I baked it for half an hour at 350 and then put the cheese on and baked for another ten minutes. I think just half an hour would have sufficed though; the shells were a little bit over cooked. Didn't stop me from eating them though. I want to make more of these right away. Thank you Jennifer!
