Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I made it exactly how it was written. Very light and fluffy. Better than any other recipe I have used. I do like buttermilk pancakes better, but I still give this 5 stars.

Easy, and delicous. I used Macintosh and Old Fashioned Oats, because that is what I had and they still turned out great. I am not sure if that is why my apples were kind of mushy, but I don't mind that. I think if I didn't cook it the whole ten minutes, the topping might not have been done enough. I was happy to make a treat in this heat without warming up the kitchen.

Apple Dumpling Cake

I took this to church, and got lots of raves. I was told I could bring it all the time. Very easy, and yummy.

Burnt Butter Frosting

I don't know if I messed up or not, but I didn't like the flavor. It reminded me of the melted butter I used for lobster. I wondered if maybe the spoon I used was melting into the butter, but it didn't smell like plastic. I had my husband taste the frosting, and he said it was fine, but I don't like it. I am sure I cooked it long enough, it did turn brown.

Thick Chocolate Pudding

I decided to make it on the stove and I think I doubled the sugar. I also added a tablespoon of butter. Pretty good. Also, I turned it off before it got as thick as I wanted it, because corntarch continues to thicken after you turn the heat off.

Jackie's Special Meatloaf

I give this a 4 star, because I had to change it a bit. It only called for 1 pound of meatloaf, but I used 2 lbs and it turned out perfect. I had to use regular bread crumbs, because that is what I had. I followed someone's advice buy using half ketchup and half W. sauce.
