This was delicious. It didn't last long at our potluck. Will definitely make again!

Cajun Deviled Eggs

I enjoyed these - definitely added much more cayenne pepper into mixture and on top to make it spicier, as well as some other cajun seasonings.

Orange Glazed Carrots

Wonderful! Did what others suggested and seperately cooked carrots and sauce and mixed at end, adding a little bit of cornstarch, cinnamon, and honey for thickness. Nice orange sweet flavor!

Honey Cornbread

This was pretty good. I expected it to be more cakelike, but I still enjoyed it. Took about 20 mins longer for mine to be completely done.

Brought this to our Thanksgiving potluck and it went quickly. Substituted mace with 1 tsp vanilla, cinnamon, and dash of nutmeg, and used granny smith apples.

Easy and delicious. A hit at our summer picnic. Used white wine vinegar for a sweet taste, and some colorful chopped sweet peppers for some color.

Cold Corn Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
I also doubled the ingredients because it was a hit at our potluck. Used cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, and used Italian dressing instead of mayo, because that's how I grew up eating corn salad. Loved how colorful it was with all the peppers!

Maple Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
This was scrumptious. I'm not sure why the topping didn't turn out as crumbly as I hoped for, and I did follow the recipe exactly. But it still turned out delicious for Thanksgiving dessert. I had enough pumpkin and maple mixture for 2 pies.

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This was a very good base for a soup which I added more to, as others suggested. Added cooked seasoned ground turkey, mushrooms, onions, and used collard greens instead of spinach, and added tortellini before serving so that it would not get mushy. It was a fantastic, healthy, and satisfying soup. Thank you!

Collard-Kielbasa Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Made this in the crock pot and it turned out wonderful and thick. Used fresh (instead of frozen) collard greens that I needed to use up. Kept everything pretty much the same as called for and it was wonderful. Don't really need too much salt or pepper. The main ingredients provide enough natural seasoning and taste.

Sweet Pepper Pasta Toss with Kale

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
MMMMMMMMM.........very satisfying. I didn't have kale, but used chopped collard greens instead, pretty much the same. Drizzled extra light virgin olive oil on top before serving. Perfect as a main dish or a side dish. So quick and easy to make, and I loved how colorful it was. Thanks!

Zucchini Tomato Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This was an excellent, seasonal soup. I loved how easy it was to make, and was surprised at how quickly everything cooked. I used ground turkey instead of beef to keep it light and healthy (however the soup was very fulfilling), and maybe added just a tad more of the seasonings and herbs, just because I love them. But overall, I pretty much kept the recipe the same (except for the meat substitution), and my boyfriend and I were very pleased. Oh, and, I didn't take one other person's suggestion and added freshly grated parmesan cheese on top after dishing each bowl.....because that's yummy too.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This sauce was awesome! Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to turn out as good as it did. I turned the chicken wings once halfway through the baking time, and the sauce caramelized nicely. Tasted nice and sweet - a nice change from hot wings! Thanks!

Taco Bake I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was pretty good and a little different for a change instead of nachos or tacos. I added chopped onions to the beef, and next time I'll probably add some jalapenos to the bake to make it a little spicier!

This recipe turned out be so delicious! It was also very simple to make. I followed it exactly for seasonings and cooking, except I just added a chopped onion on top of the pork before the sauce was poured over. Thanks for the excellent recipe!
