People beg me to cook because I go through phases where I try every restaraunt there is in the city I'm in, rather than go shopping and cook at home. When I do cook, even my inventions come out well. I surprise myself sometimes!
My favorite things to cook
Mediterranean, healthy/organic foods, pastas, and I absolutely LOVE cheese. Overall, the things I cook most are rich deserts. I'm the fudge brownie master.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandparents originated from Italy and my Mother is 100% Italian. She's an amazing cook. My father loved to cook and his first wife was 100% Mexican, so he brought recipes from that side of my family. As a child, my parents owned a successful health food store together in Phoenix, AZ.
My cooking triumphs
I learned to cook my first batch of Peppercorn chicken at 8 years old. Woohoo!
My cooking tragedies
The thermostat on my oven went out before a big potluck so I turned my cheesecake brownies into cheesecake brownie pudding and it was a hit, fortunately.
