Fish Tacos with Honey-Cumin Cilantro Slaw and Chipotle Mayo

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
The recipe was somewhat confusing. I mixed half of the chipotle mayo with the honey cumin dressing and tossed the slaw with it. It turned out great! Loved the crunchy fish and the chipotle mayo was perfect...loved the spice!

Baba Ghanoush

Yummy! I baked my eggplant and then added a 1/2 teaspoon of liquid smoke to give it that smoky flavor and used white pepper to not ruin the color.

Cranberry Crumble Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
I made this for work and got raves over it. One guy who never eats cake because he doesn't like how sweet it is couldn't stop eating it. I know buy extra cans of cranberry sauce around the holidays when they are on sale so I can make this all year round!

Super Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
OMG!!! Anytime I make shrimp, either grilled, bbq, or just boiled, I take the shells and cook down a stock with a small amount of water with the leftover shells. I had 8 cups sitting in my freezer and made this...to die for! After doubling the recipe, I added a large can of bean sprouts, some yellow miso paste, rice noodles and sriracha for spice since I didn't have red chile peppers. This is a great recipe. A definite keeper!

Bok Choy Salad

Never thought to use bok choy for a salad. Loved it! The dressing is fabulous! I didn't have ramen noodles so I just added extra toasted almonds and sesame seeds. Added fresh mushrooms too.

Yummy Bok Choy Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
My husband didn't think he would like this....he LOVED it and so did I! I didn't have ramen or chow mein noodles, just added extra toasted almonds and sesame seeds with some ground up crispy seaweed. The 1/2 tsp of ground coriander that Candy suggested was the finishing spice that made it all good. Added fresh sliced mushrooms too. Anything would be good with that dressing!

Mid-Eastern Chicken Thighs

What a great recipe to make! Easy, a mild subtle flavor that was just delicious! I will probably add a little more curry powder and garam marsala and salt the next time but it was delicious as it was. It was a nice change from really spicy Indian food.

Thai Steamed Mussels

THE best mussels yet! This will be my recipe always. The heat on the end is mild so add some extra red curry paste if you like it hotter. The cilantro perfectly tops it off! A serious thank you to the poster. : )

Cilantro Jalapeno Pesto with Lime

This recipe is AMAZING! I did add a little extra parmesean cheese and my cilantro bunch was huge. I am going to mix this in some yogurt and make a dip out of it. I could eat it as is! It absolutely needs a 1/2 tsp of salt!

Patti's Mussels a la Mariniere

YUM! I was at McCormick and Schmidts for happy hour last week and they had these amazing mussels. The only difference was unsweetened coconut milk....I added a can and followed the recipe to a tee! THE BEST! Try adding the coconut milk...I was drinking the broth like soup!

Curried Coconut Chicken

I did not care for this. It tasted like canned tomato soup with milk and curry. Leave out the can of tomato sauce! I had to add red curry paste, fish sauce and sweet chili sauce. This won't stay on my recipe list.

Mexican Bean Salad

I'M ADDICTED! I just finished making this for a BBQ tomorrow and I couldn't keep my spoon out of it! I halved the oil, vinegar and a little more than half the sugar but kept the rest the same, as per other reviews. I am going to make this dressing for ALL my salads. Thank you SO much!

Polish Style Lasagna

I did follow others suggestions and added a can of drained sauerkraut to the middle layer, bacon bits to it and added the onions cooked in butter to the mashed potatoes. I topped it with a layer of the mashed potatoes and added shredded cheddar cheese the last 10 minutes of baking. I couldn't have imagined it would have turned out as good as it did!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
What a GREAT recipe! EASY and delicious. I sauteed the onions in the pot and then added all the ingredients and used my immersion blender....1 pot sauce, no extra cleaning the blender! I added red wine cause that's what I had open and a few fresh mushrooms,Italian seasoning, a TBSP brown sugar and topped it off with freshly chopped basil and lots of parmesean cheese. I see all kinds of possibilities with this recipe. I will never buy Marinara sauce again!
