Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting
After reading many of the reviews and hearing of all the possible problems with this recipe I was really leary of trying it. I went ahead and gave it a shot and I am glad I did. I did use confectioners sugar rather than the granulated, but other than that I followed the original recipe. It turned out perfect in texture and spreadability. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the cream cheese taste was milder than I prefer in a frosting. I served it on a white cake and everyone said it was great. Note: I whipped the heavy cream with frozen metal bowl and beaters and then put it in the fridge while I prepared the cream cheese mixture (just in case).

Heavenly White Cake
I followed the directions and made a couple of changes as suggested by other users but this cake did not meet my expectations even closely. I would have been better off using a boxed mix for a lot less trouble. It shrunk in the pan quite a bit. I assume that is due to the meringue. Makes the cake look like I didn't add all the ingredients. The taste is OK but not heavenly. Sorry, but I just didn't care for this cake at all.
