I'm a wife and mother of 2 young boys. I take care of my mom and a semi large property. I volunteer at my sons schools and in helping people learn more about the Bible. I work at my sons school part time as an education assistant. My favorite things to cook is desserts and sweets with the help of my boys. With all the things I have to do, I generally look for fast dinner recipes or slow cooker recipes to make dinner fast and simple. My dad was a professional baker, although he personally didn't really eat cookies, cakes and such. Every winter he and my mom made peanut brittle, fudge and popcorn balls. It was a lot of fun to eat and made great memories. I need to start that tradition back up with my boys! I had a hard time perfecting gravy made from drippings off roast beef or turkey. I finally got that figured out about 7 years ago. (I had been married and cooking for about 8 years before that.) That stands out as my cooking triumph.
