Grew up on south Louisiana. Got many recipes from my grandmother who was also born and raised here. Have traveled all over the US and experienced many different tastes. Now passing on southern traditional recipes, recipes from all over the U.S., making my own, and keeping everyone healthy and happy. Sauce piquant, pastalaya, roast, sausage dishes, casseroles, desserts-mostly southern dishes. Making many desserts to give away at Christmas time. Cooking pork chops thoroughly without burning them. LOL!!! If it's an easy dish for someone else, chances are I'll have a hard time with it. If it's a difficult dish for most, I gladly accept the challenge and usually do well. Making the most awful fudge that was gooey and did not set at all. Cooking pork chops double breaded. The outside was VERY done and the inside was still mostly raw. My fiance and dad never said a thing but ate them up. I didn't eat any so I didn't know and no one told me til about 3 weeks later. What a disaster. Next time I cooked them single breaded, on low, turning frequently and the came out fine.
