Very pleased with the texture of these burgers, and am so glad to have found a usable recipe for homemade veggie burgers! The mix was very sticky to work with, and gave doubts as to whether they would stay together, but the cooking was actually really easy and went well. They stayed together perfectly on the grill, and browned nicely. The flavor was lacking something for me (I like bland, non-spicy food so it wasn't that), so I will have to experiment with different veggies in the future (peppers, mushrooms, etc). My husband wants to add spices next time for his as he felt the flavor was good but too bland for him. Overall - great base recipe that's super easy and has an awesome texture.

I really didn't like these nuts, something abot the spices just wasn't right. I tried a different yet similar spiced nut recipe and found them to be delicious though. Maybe it's the brown sugar versus white sugar or the ginger (the other recipe had nutmeg and cloves)? I don't know, but my husband and I both decided we won't be making these again, sorry!

YUM! Made these for the first time tonight to bring to Thanksgiving at relatives' and my husband couldn't stop eating them! I cut back on the cloves to about half based on other reviews and they were GREAT! I made another glazed/spiced nut recipe as well and didn't liek it at all, but I'll certainly be making these again.
