About this Cook
I have a new found passion for cooking and baking. All of which was a happy accident!!! Literally. Long story short, I use to go out to eat everyday due to my life/work schedule; then a little over a year ago I became "disabaled" and wasn't able to leave my house. Well, you gotta eat! I learned that frozen food was just not going to cut it, now I am experimenting with some amazing recipes and loving every minute of it!!
My favorite things to cook
Baby Back Ribs Apple Pie Meatloaf No Bake Cookies
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I have "dates" with each other once a week. We plan a meal, go grocery shopping or down to the farmer's market, then prepare it together. It's very relaxing and a great way to keep a strong bond!
My cooking triumphs
APPLE PIE
My cooking tragedies
***Peanut Butter Balls II*** I was not aware of refriderating the dough BEFORE dipping it into melted chocolate. I tryed with no avail. I ended up creating a peanut butter loaf.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies
I followed the recipe and these cookies turned out amazing!! Though not as soft as one might suspect. That's ok for me though because I enjoy crisper cookies. This will definetly be made again!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I must have done this wrong somehow.....the taste of the cookies were very bland and cakey. After the first batch came out like that, I changed up the recipe DRASTICALLY. I took the rest of the batter and added more of the ingredients(minus the flour) and added peanut butter chips and rolled oats. Those cookies were AWESOME. So I am only giving this a 3 star. However, I will try the recipe again and see if maybe I made a mistake with the first run with this recipe.

Beef Tips and Noodles
I followed Dee Dee's advice and made this in a slow cooker. After about 5 hours of cooking it was an amazing dinner. I added ALOT of garlic(we are garlic fiends!) and served it with homemade dinner rolls. Very easy and delicious recipe.
