I just recently got married to a wonderful man. I enjoy my job as a caregiver and I really enjoy spending time with my husband and friends and I love to cook for them. :)
My favorite things to cook
Mexican. I also love to bake. Unfortunately I can not bake sweets that I love too much due to the fact I dont want to gain a 1000 pounds. :)

Taco Salad that I created by myself. I thought it was going to be a disaster but it was really yummy!

Irish Chicken and Dumplings
It was pretty good. I added paprika just to add some color because it looked so bland. It was yummy though.

Mongolian Strawberry-Orange Juice Smoothie
I thought this was a good start--both my husband and I agreed that it needed more flavor. Next time I will add another half cup of strawberries and a little more sugar. This is a great smoothie for the morning or to replace a meal. I'm full! :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
My husband would give it a five. I however, thought it was a bit salty--I think it was the taco seasoning I used--next time I will use the seasoning the cook for this recipe recommended. I give it four stars. We added cilantro, cheese, sour cream and a huge dollup of homemade guacamole. That really helped with the saltiness for me.
