I'm not going to lie; I can't cook. I'm horrible at it. I wasn't allowed in the kitchen growing up and if I wasn't the only one willing in this little home to try, I would still be banned. I have no patience for cooking, and it never works for me. The only reason I'm here is because if I had no direction from the internet we'd live off hotdogs and fast food. All I have is cooking hope ;).
My favorite things to cook
Things I can bake that really hard to mess up. Anything with ingredients that I can pronounce. Anything that I have less than 12 questions (the standard is about 5 questions). A year ago I couldn't tell you what a clove of garlic was... all I can say is God Bless the internet!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom is a wonderful cook. My brother and sister are even pretty good at it. That being said, I've attempted the traditions and wellllll let's just says, The Tradition Stops With Me :).
My cooking triumphs
I made a chocolate pie for Thanksgiving this year (I don't think chocolate on a crust is really the best pie in the world, but it was requested) I think I burnt the premade crust, BUT I got the recipe on here and my boyfriend and his family ate the whole thing! I thought he was lying when he said he liked it... but I was quite proud of myself ;).
My cooking tragedies
I only have 1000 characters to list my cooking tagedies? Oh man. I had to look up how to boil an egg. I've burned everything I've attempted to make at least once. I make things the dogs won't eat and they'll eat just about anything.
