Made tonight for supper and it was very quick and easy. Did not use pie crust or peppers, but it was still good. I was surprised. Next time I will use more mashed potatoes.

I had a hard time deciding how to rate this recipe. My kids did not care for it. But then kids are kids and to tell you the truth, I LOVED it. I will only make again for a large group. I did make a small change. I did not pour all the dressing over the salad just enough to taste and keep the apples from turning brown, I put the rest of the dressing on the side to add if desired.

I made these with shrimp scampi, and my family loved them!!! I followed recipe exactly as written and would not change a thing. I will be making these again and they are so easy! My better 1/2 loves them and "hints" about me making them again soon.
