Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
These are wonderful! The time is way too long for us though. So the night before, we fully made them all the way through letting them rise as if they were about to go in the oven. Then we put a lid on the 9x13 and put them in the fridge. Next morning when we got up all we had to do was make the icing and bake them for the 20 minutes (on 375). This way made breakfast a lot quicker.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
This is by far the best (most moist) chocolate cake you will ever make. I started making this cake when it was 5/5 stars and only 53 people had rated it. It is so easy and the taste is wonderful. I do however use a cream cheese frosting and usually mix in some coconut or chocolate chips (in the frosting).

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
These were really good. We picked apples at the orchard yesterday and needed some new ways to use them. I did use 1/2 white & 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter. I put them in the oven for 5 minutes, took them back out and then added the crumble. They were perfect.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
This is so much easier than frying on the stove and way less mess too! I left out the sage and salt and used chili powder and curry instead. It was really good.

Almond-Topped Fish

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
This was so good and really easy. I left out the seasoned salt, almonds and parsley and in the sauce I added about a teaspoon of horseradish. I also used half cod and half salmon together in the same dish and it was perfect for two people.

This is soooooo good! We picked way too many strawberries about a month ago so I have lots in the freezer. What a great and quick way to make a wonderful dessert.

Hummus III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
This is really good and so easy. What I really like is that it is so easy to add/subtract to make it to your taste. My husband loves hummus and I can't wait for him to try it. More garlic is for sure needed!

I prefer my stove top recipe to this one. However this makes dinner easy on a busy day.

Made these cookies for my daughter who loves peanut butter. She did not ask for another one. We both thought they were only okay.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
Perfect! I cut the potato in slices so they are round and then I season with brown sugar on half and chili powder/garlic powder for the other half. I also have to cut down the cooking time and temp. These are great for adults and children!

Squash Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I use pork chops instead of chicken. I make the veggie mixture then I place uncooked chops in a 9x13 top with the veggie mixture and bake. It is wonderful and a great way to use winter veggies!

We loved this recipe. I used two pounds of crab and no other seafood. It was creamy and the lump crab was perfect. My five year old loved it too!

Black Beans and Rice

This was delicious! I served it with the oven-fried catfish recipe from here too. I left out the cumin and mixed in two cups of cheddar and only one can of beans. My husband said it was better than a restaurant.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This is so easy and the taste is perfect. I found it a little bit too much water but otherwise it was great. I made it for a dinner treat and my five year old asked for thirds! It is nice too because you can add the cinnamon and sugar to your taste as it cooks.

This is really good bread. My five year old loves it. I use others advice and do 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar. Also I use three cups of zucchini Very easy and perfect every time. Great way to get the kids to eat "hidden" veggies!

Ice Cream Sticky Buns

These are wonderful! I add crushed pecans and raisins to the mixture. I pour enough of the mixture on the bottom of the pan to cover it and then add the pieces of dough and then cover with remaining mixture. Great for the whole family.

Banana Split Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
This recipe is wonderful! I do make some changes though. First, I use oreo cookies and blend them smooth and mix with butter to make the crust. I usually use 1.5 times the filling to make a 9x13 size as this goes very quickly. I almost always leave out the whip topping and if I do use it I use ready whip. I have sent this to my husband's work and it was the first thing gone. I have never had anyone say they didn't like it, even children will eat the fruit just to get to the cake & cookies!
