Hi. I have been married since Sept.8, 2007. I married my soulmate who happens to come from a large off-the-boat Italian family. I am Italian as well, but my family is Italian American so our families cooking is very different. We have been together for 6 years so I have aquired his families taste in Italian food. It was tough at first, but now I love it! I love to cook Italian food. Garlic is my passion. The more, the better. I like to cook different chicken dishes. I would like to get into making some Mexican food so hopefully, that will come my way soon. My family likes to make Zucchini pie. I will put the recipe on here soon. It is soooo good! Another family tradition is Matzo Ball soup (Italian style as my grandmother would say), and Pizzarustica for Easter. The first time I made Chicken Francais my inlaws came over. It was fabulous. I also made a homemade pesto sauce which they weren't used to, but they enjoyed all. I can't bake for nothing! I don't know what it is. I make cookies from the box and screw them up. My baking works out for me 1 out of 10 times. EEK! I would like to become a little stronger in that area.
