Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
These are great! I rolled them into about 1.5-2 inch balls, and dropped them in a baggie with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
I followed the recipe exactly except that I reduced oven temp to 390 and cooked exactly 8 minutes then removed immediately to wire rack. Result was a crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside cookie. So great.
I creamed the first ingredients (butter, shortening etc) with a mixer but then when I added the flour I mixed it by hand.
Got about 50 medium sized cookies out of this. Very easy and will make again in a hurry. Thanks
