Mustard Vinaigrette
I halved this and used it as a marinade for cooked green beans with a couple slices of sweet onion. Excellent!

Six Week Bran Muffins
Very good, especially when baked after the batter has chilled for a while. Delicious with a little butter and orange marmalade. I quartered the recipe and cut the sugar to 2 cups to suit my family, and faked the buttermilk with milk/vinegar.

Pot Roast in Beer
Very good when you want beefy, creamy comfort food. I followed the initial steps and then put it all in the crockpot for about 8 hours. I was a bit worried at first because the dark beer I added (Smithwick's) did give the sauce a slightly bitter taste, but after cooking all day it all mellowed nicely.
