I didn't like this at all. I made the recipe exactly like stated, but it tasted powdery. Which i suppose came from the corn starch, which Ive never seen in flan before.

The Best Pavlova

Dear lord this stuff is amazing ! Spent what felt like an eternity hand beating (4) egg whites. I wasn't sure it was worth it until I finally tried it. It was. I ended up using cool whip because there was no way I could hand whip heavy cream after the whites. Topped with fresh strawberries and mangos. Everyone should try this.

Brown Sugar Candy

VERY similar to one of my favorite candies from See's. The pecan roll. Has a grainy ALMOST crumbly type texture. I halved the recipe the first time I made it, just so I could see what I was getting myself into. I decided it was a wee bit sweet for me so the second time around I cut back on some of the sugar. It was great !!

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Everyone who tried this had something good to say about it. I dissolved the jello in 1 cup of boiling water, and and measured 2 cups of sliced strawberries, and topped the 2 measuring cups of strawberries with water. Hope that makes sense. Anyways this is great try it.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Good. But I sub'd orange extract for almond and I think I may have over done it so they had an almost bitter/bite quality that I know came from the orange extract. None the less they were good.

Biscotti

Good recipe. Cookies were a wee bit soft, which in most cases would be great, but I like my biscotti rock hard. Not sure if it was something I did wrong but, either way they were good. Not amazing though.

Leek and Fennel Soup

Didn't use potatoes. Fasted for a weekend on this soup, sipping the broth through out the day and eating the veggies when I got hungry. Lets just say I didn't once feel deprived or like I was missing out on anything else. Plus my tummy feels much better.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Delicious. Only made half, and I was still short on sugar but it was GOOuoood. Also I sub'd some apple sauce for oil. Baked as muffins, they came out moist and perfect. Topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting.
