My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I are "famous" for creating our own meals. Somehow we both have a gift for seeing what's in the cupboard/fridge and just magically coming up with a dish. And I have to say, we haven't concocted anything we didn't like...so far! Our favorite is combining any type of pasta, flavored diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, some spaghetti sauce and either chicken or italian sausage with lots of cheese and baking it. We ALWAYS make leftovers!

Grandma's Corn Chowder
Just what I was looking for on a chilly fall day!! We are a bacon-loving family so I did add a bit more...and it was wonderful! Just like Grandma used to make :)

Banana Cream Pie Made Easy
I made this pie for a family get together...and good thing I divided it between 2 pie shells!!! It went SO fast! And it tastes delicious... I used twice the bananas and a little more whipped cream, but they came out PERFECT! A new family favorite!
