Rainbow Cookies

I worked at an Italian bakery in HS, and have been looking for a recipe for these cookies- this is it! They are well worth the effort, and we can't have Christmas without them. I do make a simple syrup flavored with almond extract, spray each layer and wait 5 mins or so before spreading the jelly, and they are so moist. Thanks so much!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This is the best cornbread I've ever had. I followed the recipe exactly, but baked it in a glass loaf pan, and it came out perfectly. Thanks a million!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I found this recipe here a few years ago, and have yet to find another pie so good. Everyone I bake it for just raves over it, and it works well with just about any apple variety. 5 stars doesn't do it justice!

Pie Crust IV

Yummy! I followed the recipe, but due to heat and humidity, only needed half of the ice water. It was very flaky with a simple, homemade taste, and mixed well in my stand-up mixer with the dough hook.

Rolled Fondant

I followed this recipe exactly, and got double the fondant for half the price of the boxed stuff... AND PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY EAT THIS FONDANT! If you've worked with boxed fondant, use this recipe- it rolled, tinted and decorated so smoothly and easily, and tastes very good when flavored with extract. I've recommended it to other cake friends, and we'll all hooked- thank you so much!
