About this Cook
I am a college student. I love to have people over and cook for them. I like to try new recipes and alter them to be more healthy or more "me". I love to bake, mostly.
My favorite things to cook
Anything dessert. New scone, cookie, kolache recipes are fun.

Brownie Pudding
This was pretty good, but compared to the pudding part the brownie part was sort of dry--I'd try it again, just in case before writing it off. I used the given amount of topping, but tripled the brownie portion, similar to what others did, and the proportion seemed just fine.

Baked Tilapia
This is a great recipe that you can alter to fit what you have in your kitchen. As a college student cooking primarily for myself, my stock of spices, etc, is small. For one filet I used a mixture of olive oil (1/2 tb), minced garlic (1 tsp), basil (to taste), and marinara since I didn't have tomato paste. I just sprayed the dish with cooking spray to keep it light. I added sliced mushrooms on top during the broiling process and it came out great!

Light Oat Bread
I am new to making bread, however, I am not new to eating homemade bread. This one has an amazing flakey crust, and is really simple to make without a bread machine. Refer to the Review by Jules for instructions on how to make without a bread machine. They're spot-on!
