Grill Dough

RAINY DAY tips! Made the dough in the breadmaker, followed the recipe to a "T" otherwise.I let it rise/rest for 15 minutes before I prebaked the crust for about 8 minutes @400. Then added all the toppings and baked for 20 minutes. Easy and really good!

Quick Ziti with Swiss Cheese and Ham

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
QUICK! Great way to use up some leftover ham! Hubby said its a keeper and surprizingly "Filling". I had some leftover Green beans to add for color....did add diced onions, used the cellaphane swiss but added some fresh picarino parmesan into it...It smelled so great cooking!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
Very good and easy too! I had to make my own Teriyaki Sauce(on AR,BY JUDY) and I just marinated the chicken in it while I chopped the onions, waiting for the fry pan to heat. I was out of RANCH dressing but used Green Goddess and it still came out great. I only baked the chicken long enough to melt the cheese, maybe 15 minutes but my chix breasts were fairly thin and didn't want to overcook them. We will be having this again! Thanks for a great recipe!

Garlic Crab Legs

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Works great with Snow Crab legs too! I always sprinkle a little Old Bay on the legs at the end, when ready to serve for presentation AND the Old Bay transfers to your fingers and add just a little more taste to your handpicked crab!

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
Didn't have enchilada packet but it was so easy to make with the TEN MINUTE ENCHILADA SAUCE (On AR) so it made it all the better with homemade sauce! I used venison burger and what a great way to disguise it! Added some mild green chilies cuz I had them....this is really a cheap and quick dinner!I used corn tortillas and dipped them in the enchilda sauce to soften...a little messy but worked great, since I had the homemade sauce on the stove anyhow! Another Keeper!

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
VERY easy and delish! I did add a little extra cumin and a tablespoon of taco seasoning but truly was good before the additions, just a personal taste for us. Used it on the BEEF ENCHILADAS II, very easy also! Great meal and Hubby said it was better than the truly Mexican restaurant here! He is still nimbling on it, everytime he walks in the kitchen! Keeper!

Mushion Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
This is great basic recipe! I did season my meat before browning with Garlic powder, S&P,and Accent(MSG). I added an extra can of mushrooms, too. I have done this in the oven but today it was hot and just kept it on the stovetop, covered, on low for an hour and it came out so tender! Easy meal, no fuss! Serve with mashed potatoes or wide egg noodles and it makes a hearty meal! Also works with lean boneless country ribs!

Easy Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
HOLY COW! These are delicious! My new favorite grilling recipe! I basically made this recipe as stated but inadvertantly some slight things made it better! I had some seasoned onions from precooking my chicken for the grill, used them.(Chipotle pepper and garlic flavored)I also used bacon grease to lube the foil instead of spray and I think that added flavor too! Try this, really easy and NO CLEAN-UP!

Southern Fried Chicken Livers

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
Yes,it's me! Darn, these are good! I stress the safety of the fry screen and I just want you all to take this recipe and make it your own! Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices...this is my basic recipe...I often add paprika, poultry seasoning, cajun, anything to the flour. If you like extra crispy....Flour first, then egg misture, then flour again! Makes the coating thicker and crispier! Also,TIP: Plan these when your oil is at the end of its life, don't waste new oil, because it will taint it. Enjoy! My friends! Love, Cindy

Garlic Croutons

Quick and Easy! Put these on a salad with sliced cajun chix breast and cheese. Hubby absolutely loved this salad! He even asked for more croutons on his salad! I followed recipe to a T but did sprinkle some sesame seeds on the croutons for the last 5 minutes! Timing is perfect on these...did them in the toaster oven!

Gale's Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
SO EASY! Followed the recipe exactly! Just used a regular lite beer and put a heaping tablespoon of jarred garlic and they came out perfect. Squeeze a little lemon on before serving if you like lemon! I did skewer the shrimp and put directly on the grill, which I think gives a little more smoky flavor but you need to stand there and watch them They don't take long to cook!

Belles Hamburger Buns

My current favorite! Made this with a 2 lb breadmaker on the dough cycle....this is alot of flour, so do not use a smaller breadmaker. I did add 1 tspof vital wheat gluten per cup of flour(5 tspplus the flour)to finish up the last 1/2 cup of flour. I microwaved the first ingredients to 110 degrees, its just easier. Other than that, I did not change a thing. You have to try this!
