I like to experiment with my cooking. I believe recipes are only for guidelines and new cooking ideas... I've never followed a recipe exactly from start to finish, even when using packaged mixes. My son says I make everything with "win and awesome" added, using my "super-mom-ified-cooking-powers". italian red & white sauces, pasta dishes, asian stir-frys & soup, family recipies modified for a vegetarian diet. I make a killer vegan chili. Even my son (who hates beans!) loves it. My mom makes me peanut butter fudge for Christmas. It's the best, peanuttiest non-chocolate fudge ever!! She also has the best no-bake cookie recipie, and another one for peanut butter bon-bons. She taught me how to cook :oD I made a lasagne that no one knew was veggie hehehe... I'm never telling... The worst thing that's ever happened is not making enough... or forgetting to bring it with us, which isn't really too bad, because we actually get to eat whatever it is, as opposed to our family devouring whatever it was before we get a taste... :o)
