1 husband, 3 kids - 24, 18 & 17. I work full time for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Love to cook and read so I have a pretty large cook book collection! I like tried and true recipes. I don't like to toss out something I've put effort into so I love to read reviews before I try it. I would not be the one creating a recipe. I love Italian and baking. I like making the plate appealing to look at as well as taste! We all like to cook together at my house. Like so many other homes my kitchen is the heart and if I am in there chances are my husband and a kid or two will be as well. We always make our own cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving which is so easy and makes me wonder why anyone would buy it in a can but the kids loved watching them pop when they were young and we still do it! We always have manicotti Christmas Eve. Oh, I think anytime people leave your table full and happy is a triumph! I can' think of any right now but I know I have had many!! That just comes with learning
