About this Cook
I am new to cooking, I am cooking anything healthy here that I can find!
My favorite things to cook
Healthy meals, chicken, pasta, anything that looks good!
My favorite family cooking traditions
A friend and I both started a diet at the same time and in the hopes of motivating ourselves have started the weekly tradition of JayKay Cooking Day... Even though we live far apart, we pick a recipe and cook at the same time, take pictures of what we've done, and compare notes.
My cooking triumphs
Making an awesome and difficult greek pasta dish, it tasted amazing!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to pan cook dumplings... it turned into a complete mess with burnt oil all over. It was without a recipe, and i'll stick to the book for now on.

Modenese Pork Chops
As some of the comments said, I used olive oil to brown the chops. And then cooked them in the white wine sauce. These pork chops came out amazing, in my search for healthy pork chop recipes, I have found nothing that compares to this recipe. Simple and tasty!

Greek Chicken Pasta
5 Stars, would give it 10 if I could! I followed the recipe pretty straight forward, I used two cans of artichokes and one can I drained, the other I poured in. Low fat feta was used, and it came out GREAT! Family favorite here, im making it again this week!

Creamy Chicken Stir-Fry
This was the first recipe I used on allrecipes, and what a great choice! I substituted carrots, with onions. And used low fat milk. The broccoli was AMAZING! It soaked up the sauce and tasted wonderful. However, because it soaked up so much of the sauce, there wasn't much left! Next time I will use one and a half cans. Regardless, it came out great!
