Yum! I added shredded mexican cheese on top along with extra chives and tomatoes, just for presentation... I took it to a friend's Christmas party and it disappeared! I would double the recipe though... there's no way a single recipe serves 16, at least not the way we eat!

This is the SECOND time I have tries this recipe, seeing as how so many people have given it 5 stars... the first time I couldn't get it out of the cookie sheet, which I did grease beforehand, so I tried a different sheet... I was able to get it out this time, but only to find it soggy and chewy. It's called peanut BRITTLE... SHOULDN'T IT BE BRITTLE?! I've been cooking for years and know that I followed the recipe exactly, both times... I won't waste any more energy (or ingredients) on a third attempt. DOUBLE BOO!!! ;(

YUM! I made a double recipe and combined milk and dark chocolate... it came out great! Crushing the peppermints was messy and annoying, but worth it!
