Excellent cake. Made a great 1st birthday cake! Changes: Butter instead of oil (same amount) 1/2 c apple butter (unseasoned) 2 tsp "Pumpkin pie spice" (otherwise it is really very bland) 3 tsp Cinnamon (we like it a lot, and it still was not overpowering in the recipe) I agree with the Creamcheese frosting recipe for the icing. Overall excellent!

Great pancakes, I will make these many times to come. I made the following changes (because we were out of vanilla extract of all things!) and they were excellent: 2.5 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2 tbsp sugar 2.25 cups milk 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 4 tbsp butter 1 tsp almond extract (they tasted great with butter and maple syrup) enjoy!

These are the best cookies in the world. My family may never let me bake any other kind of cookie ever again. They combine the best of cookies, cakes and muffins all in one. One word of advice, make sure the cookies are off of the baking sheet when you pour the icing. Otherwise the heat of the baking sheet melts the icing too much and it thins out on top and pools around the cookies.
