I'm a wife (a great one!) and a stay-at-home mom of a 1 and 2 year old. We are expecting another one in March -- we are excited, but this will be the last one! I cook 6 days out of the week, and am always on the look-out to try new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I have always had an affection for desserts, especially fruit based. I would like to try my hand at chocolate ones, but the time I tried to make fudge has made me a little hesitant to try again (it did not resemble fudge in the least). Otherwise family dinners, and especially kid friendly meals are what I do best.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Homemade birthday treats, Xmas goodies, and Friday treat night.
My cooking triumphs
Whipping Cream Cake, my special chili, and soups/stews.
My cooking tragedies
The aforementioned fudge became goopy, grainy, and inedible. I also have not been able to properly make pork chops, the outside is always charred, and the inside bloody - aaahhh!
