About this Cook
I am married with two children. I actually love to cook but our demanding schedule often takes the joy out of cooking. The biggest challenge for me is having the forethought to plan meals ahead of time instead of scrambling to stuff bellies before bed. My husband and I both enjoy fresh baked food as opposed to processed foods, my 9 year old daughter is extremely picky and my 2 1/2 year old son will eat anything I put in front of him. (Go figure, he's the one with multiple food allergies: dairy, nuts, eggs). I am not necessarily creative in the kitchen but I can follow a recipe and I'm addicted to this website!
My favorite things to cook
I love slow cooker meals!! Anything that can cut out the madness that inevitably occurs around 6:00pm :-)

Tortilla Snack Strips
Very good! I used my pizza cutter to slice the tortillas and that worked really well. Thanks for the recipe!

Sweet Potato Casserole I
This is a very good recipe. I will make it again. One of my guests, who has never eaten sweet potatoes or yams since childhood, tried and LOVED the dish.

Blue Cranberry Sauce
Absolutely fantastic! I will make this every year! I read every single review. Based on the number of suggestions to add sugar, I did. I used 1 c. of sugar rather than 1/2 c. I also used a 1/2 orange juice, 1/2 water combination rather than the 1 c. water. This was the best sauce EVER! Thank you!!
