Slow Cooker Carnitas

Really Good! I put it in the crockpot for about 9 hours on low. I couldn't find pork shoulder roast so I used port butt roast instead I really don't know the difference especially since it was slow cooked. This is a keeper!!! Thanks for sharing!

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Very dry and bland...glad I only baked for 5 minutes I couldn't imagine what it would be like any longer. It was not creamy at all and had no taste. I'll stick to my macaroni and cheese recipe I've used for years, just thought I would try something new.

My Thai Chicken Wraps

This was really good..made a few changes I couldn't find hoisin sauce so I substitued it was honey turned out great. I served with Thai-style peanut sauce with honey which is a recipe on the site and that finished it well....

yummy.....I didn't have sesame oil so I eliminated that and used ground ginger root...still turned out good. Next time I'll double recipe it didn't make quite enough

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Yummy I did make a few changes cause I have young ones that don't like spicy stuff so I replaced the buffalo wing sauce with bbq sauce and added a couple squirts of red hot turned out perfect everyone loved them....

Stuffed Green Peppers II

I cooked the rice before hand mixed all together stuffed cooked as directed and for last 5 minutes topped with mozzarella cheese. I thought they were cooked perfect I like that little crunch to the peppers.

LIZZY217's Lamb Gyros

This was really good it craved my desire for gyros. Although my local grocery store didn't have any lamb shoulder so I used a lb of sirlion, the marinate made the meat full of flavor. I wasn't to crazy about the sauce I don't know if it was the plain yogurt or not enough seasoning it just seemed like it was missing something. All in all really good, next time I will find the lamb and make it with that.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Very tasty...I boiled the ham bone used that instead of the water, used 1 cup milk and 1 cup heavy cream added lots of different seasonings plus added corn. This is a keeper my 7 year old loved it.

Pesto Cream Sauce

This was great I did change it alittle. I added 1 cup heavy cream & 1 cup chicken broth instead of milk. I also seasoned with various spices to taste and added italian cheese blend. Served over noodles with Bruchetta Chicken...yummy

Easy Fried Eggplant

Yummy! My kids even loved these. I cut them like french fries, dipped in italian breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese, cooked them in EVOO while they were coolin I sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
